Insanely In Gujrat

So I guess by now you know I got into a wrong train... Yes I did... so basically at the thot of it I cried thinking ill be off to Faridabad or Banaras for all I care, and probably will take ages in getting back in coming back(secretly I was excited to do something like dat too) so i convinced (with teary eyes) the tc, got myself a seat fought with the guy whos seat it actually was claiming it was mine and reached Baroda...(he got another seat as well I made sure) Yes I was luckily in baroda express wrong train but not all that wrong... plan b was since I boarded an earlier train id take my actual train from Baroda and reach Ahmedabad... But my life isnt as smooth... after asking a 100 people and finally reaching the place for the bhuj express I got to know this is the bhuj express That is almost one hour after mine and it wud cost me a whopping 910rupees to
Travel ticketless in this train..So just when I was about to go purchase a ticket and travel in general ladies coach my friend (the one I am here to visit) suggested to go for the intercity busses.. with my bowels howling i had to first visit the loo thanks to which I missed d 6 30am bus... again a miss... this word now sounds so familiar...but finally after clearing all the devastation which was going on in my.. lets not mention.. I stepped out of the stinking and full of fresh shit on the tracks vododara station to a beautiful wide and very very clean and green sight... that made me feel better after all those Heart wrencing things happening ever since d journey started... found out abt the intercity... without gettin eve teased or checked out even once(I must mention.this place is.much better for.women compared to mumbai) I reached the bus stand that was about a 3mins walk but 6 for me considering all the asking... one benefit I forgot to mention, I have is, that I am gujrati speaking (thats the local language here) so finally after feeling very ben like (and missing my brother) I reached 3 counters selling so many tickets and asking the same question ka javu che BEN.... The ben safety and the the age it adds... anyway so I got my ticket and I am in the volvo now... I really loved the way the driver did his gestures in prayer to god... and blessed Half the bus.. looks like a very warm nd nice person... till I experience something again... xoxo... the big fat indian bride!!

Larger Brides Tips!!

Do’s and Don’ts  for you big body not to look bigger!!
Brides tend to get carried away with loads of glitter, big huge embroidered Saris and a lot of Gold and Silver. If you’re a petite one doesn't matter… You can wear almost anything and still not look like a lantern..!!
So these are my Do’s and Don’ts for the BIG BRIDES

  1. Wear anything that has linear cuts, Sari’s with straight borders, Long anarkalis, Lehengas with princess cut choli’s and thing that adds length cuts down on width.
  2. Wear the duppata in a way that it adds leanght, The Gujrati Palna makes you look wides and the straight sari styles makes you looks slimmer.
  3. Try not to make very short choli’s you know you don’t want to show off the Mama’s Love ( I call fat mama’s love)
  4. Make sure your necklines are wide and big, This takes way attention from your waist and draws it towards your face and neck.
  5. Try not to make linear lines at the waist, Make you choli and lehenga in similar color, don’t add that line that will emphasize on the waist, it will simply make u look wider.
  6. Avoid fabrics that SHINE, Shimmer is alright (in case you don’t understand what’s the difference GOOGLE it)
  7. Keep the areas that are you plus points open and cover areas that are your flaws (in case you have big arms wear choli with sleeves and vice versa)
  8. Wear colors that make you look linear, Like any dark colors take weight away, where are bright and light colors add weight, this is not to be generalized brides ina white gown will also look stunning just ask me what to wear !!
  9. Wear a SMILE all the time!!
  10. Don't carry your pride be humble!!

How the Brides Preparing for the Big day!!

Sorry for taking all this while, Have been so so Busy!!
So its exactly about 146 days for my wedding and I am now all set to look into my skin care regime my hair, Jewelry, Clothes, shoes and everything my 2 besties Samantha and Gargy are helping me with most of it and of course my Sweet friend who volunteered to be my makeup artist and skin technician Shourima Ghosh from  http://www.makeupfashionandeverythingilike.com/!!
Lets start From 1st things first if your wedding is anywhere close,

That's Gargy and Me.. I like footage so I am in the picture too !!

That's Samantha... I like this pic coz she looks so pretty here..!! ( Me on the left is constant)

  1. Make sure your making the most of your single days
  2. Make sure your skin is not bearing the brunt of it ( I mean limit your alcohol consumption)
  3. Start a daily routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing + SUNSCREEN AND NIGHT CREAM (not that I am an expert but just sharing what I am up to :D)
  4. You could start having some Vitamins 3 months before your big day and then discontinue (thats what my dermat said)
  5. Make sure to maintain your weight (don’t lose too much and don’t gain too much for sure)
  6. Start finalizing what you’re going to wear in case your designing everything on your own like I am.
  7. Finalize colors of outfits, Buy Jewelry and Shoes (trust me you don’t want to run around 30days before that wedding)
  8. Book yourself with a good skin clinic for a package that your skin needs
  9. BEAUTY SLEEP (Enjoy the privileges of your Maika)
  10. Book your makeup artist and Hairstylist
  11. Take care of your hair too (I forgot about that and am starting now)
  12. Eat Healthy (only way your skin will look god is if you eat well)

I will soon write in separate posts how my wedding preps are coming along… Cheers with Beers

Love your Booty.. Opss Body!!

I personally like big, Of course I want to loose weight, But just tone down, not Skinny or a size 4 its more imp to understand your body, I have a lot of big friends, what I see all the time is FEAR, They are even scared of following certain trends because it is always  ALWAYS shown to us on Skinny girls, Can we even imagine it on a larger woman, Not everyone can visualize it, In India we have very few brands catering to larger sizes, NO COUTURE no shows no Plus size models nothing, This industry in India doesn't exist.

Anyway keeping the anger apart figure out your shape are you a banana body girl, Do you have a Pear on you... Is it an apple Or your the luckier hourglass shape.
All of these bodies do exist in small  and big sizes, a thin girl can also have a banana body or a pear figure, being big is all about HOW MUCH OF YOUR MAMA'S LOVE <3 are you still carrying with you.. LOL

I am a pear shaped girl... I have inherited the big bottom from my mom( apart from the fact that she is hotter than me) we are looking at summers and I know for a fact that the colors are black and white, with bright accessories and a lot of neon.

Looking at the heat in Mumbai  I like to avoid denims, Since we are talking about larger women shorts and short skirts don't come in the picture for a daily wear (thanks to the work culture too, Most clothes are considered unethical) so work wear is pretty restrictive.

One you have understood your body check where you fall and then follow my rules that I will post soon!!

Namaste Bitches

Hey there this is just a casual post, I initially wanted to name this as NAMASTE BITCHES but I hear its taken, So I like this name as well (please excuse me for all the typing errors no matter how much I check and recheck I make a new mistake every time) So this Blog is more about being big in size and still being Sexy and Fashionable, Also you will have to bear with some of my PERSONAL Drama.

Since its the First Post I am going to keep its just a casual let me introduce myself post, I am a Designer I studied in Mumbai and currently working in exports, My love for Fashion has been since college and it explored as I took it up in my education. (blah blah blah Enough)

Funny thing is my colleague is running around working her ar*e off and I am blogging its sure going to piss her off. She has also decided who she is going to slap. Jokes apart if your going shopping make sure you shopping bag is full of black and white clothes. Next season is full of BLACK AND WHITE, Neon accessories are doing its rounds and I bet its going to stick, Who wouldn't add color to their drab (black and white)outfit with a pair of neon earring or maybe a choker.

As of now I am a little low on work in office and will soon be posting tips and do's and don'ts, a little bit of fashion forecast and lot of personal stuff. Keep reading and please bear with my typo you will get used to it!!
